STI holds annual Distributor Conference in Marietta Georgia. With about 90 attendees, STI Distributors toured the new Manufacturing plant in Dalton, Georgia. Educational sessions included current enhancements in synthetic turf and installation products in cooperation with the environmental “green” movement. The availability and phase in of lead-free synthetic turf products, most recent HIC and G-Max testing on playground installations and review of new infill available which reduce surface temperatures. Other topics included sales, marketing, a design and layout seminar relative to short game facilities as well as updated information on synthetic multi-game fields, overall sporting applications, Game Courts and lawn applications. A Poly Tee Line material was introduced – STI’s EZTee® is a nylon product.
