Synthetic Turf International Unveils Display and Exhibition Booth
51st Annual PGA Merchandise Show, Orlando, Florida

March 2, 2006, Jupiter, FL—The 51st annual PGA Merchandise Show presented Synthetic Turf International (“STI”) in a new light.  A global supplier and installer of premium synthetic putting greens and related synthetic surfaces, STI made a powerful presentation with an updated, visually striking display booth showcasing signature projects.  Exhibiting two putting greens, the booth also enabled visitors to experience first hand, STI’s premium synthetic surfaces.

Attracting more than 40,000 industry professionals and over 1,200 golf-related exhibitors, the show provided educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, fashion shows and networking opportunities.  The PGA Merchandise Show is the world’s largest, most comprehensive golf trade show.  STI President Bill Campbell stated, “These events are great venues for our product.  Once someone putts on our green the difference is indisputable.  Over the course of three days, at no time were the STI display greens not in use.  A number of visitors to the booth commented how their putting stroke was “grooved” as a result of the true-to-life experience of putting on the STI greens.

Of all the synthetic turf suppliers at the show, STI had by far the highest traffic.  A number of putter manufacturers at the show provided STI their products.  These vendors wanted their putters demo’d on the best available greens—STI synthetic surfaces fit the bill.  In addition to STI exhibiting at the show, several vendors purchased and utilized STI putting greens, hitting mats and chipping stations to display their golf-related products.  Fellow exhibitors utilizing STI synthetic surfaces included Heavy Putter, Nicklaus Golf, Winn Grip, Accuracy Golf and Liz Golf.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Jupiter, Florida, STI is the industry leader, supplying synthetic putting greens and related synthetic surfaces to country clubs, public and private golf  clubs, teaching facilities and short game academies. The company holds longstanding endorsement relationships with David Leadbetter and Jim McLean, two of the golf industry’s best known and most sought after instructors. STI also supplies synthetic surfaces for other sports, such as football, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, lawn bowling, bocce and other sports utilizing play fields.
